This brewery is located in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture. Although they were founded in 1955, they have long history. They spined out from their parent brewery that ahd been founded in 1718. So, they have been brewing Japanese Sake more than 300 years. Their name “Miyaizumi” comes from the quality of water. Aizuwakamatsu is one the finest water pouring places. It is said the quality of water is close to that of “Miyamizu” in Nada, the finest water for brewing Japanese Sake. “Sharaku” is sometimes called Phoenix label. It was originally brewed in their brother brewery. However, the brewery decided to be closed and they succeeded the label in 2008. After they succeeded it, they pushed it up one of famous labels in Japan. This bottle is full year model. They lease seasonal bottle every month. It is nice that you buy Sharaku every month and enjoy the difference of tastes.
