So, the brand name should represent Saga Prefecture. They posted a public comment on a local newspaper that they would like to build a new product line and they needed the brand name which represents their concept. The name of “Nabeshima” was chosen form the public comments. “Namashima” comes from Saga Domain. The family of Nabeshima was a feudal load and governed there. They were famous for the good reign and Saga Prefecture produced a lot of talent in the start of Meiji Era. The brewery is proud of the name of “Nabeshima” and brew high quality Japanese Sake by hand craft.
