Tasting Comment

You find white lees in the bottle. When you serve it in the glass, you will feel the flavor of Lychee and find strong bubbles coming up. When you drop it in your mouth, the bubbles sting your tongue and refresh your mouth. The sweetness and the bitterness follow and last. The flavor is not strong and the tastes is dry. You can enjoy this Japanese Sake as aperitif like Champagne.

Fruity-Acid: 3/5 (1 is Fruity, 5 is Acid)

I recommend you should enjoy this Japanese Sake with appetizers. But, you will also enjoy it with lunch or dinner. Because the bubbles is strong, you can enjoy it like Belgian beer.

The tips of this Ippon

This brewery is known by the first inventor of Japanese Sake Champagne. They succeeded in using an in-bottle secondary fermentation method to brew Japanese Sake. The label is named “MIZUBASHO PURE”. This Japanese Sake became the foundation of the development. To tell the truth, sparkling Japanese Sake is not rare. You can also find bubbles in “Nama-Zake”. However, what is surprising is the strongness of bubbles. The bubbles of “Nama-Zake” are weaker than those of this bottle. The brewery has their own method. They improved it and succeeded in release Japanese Sake Champagne firstly.
