They award the best rice every year and the brewery brews Japanese Sake with the rice. Each chinse characters of “Ippaku Suisei” means First, White, Water, Made. The brand was named with a wish that the bottle which is brewed with white rice and good water will be No1. Omachi is the rice brand that was originally used to brew Japanese Sake. It is hard to grow, so it gradually disappeared. However, the characteristics was focused on again and it revived. Omachi is usually grown in Okayama Prefecture, so the rice that is used to brew this bottle is not made in Akita. However, the brewery decided to use Omaci. They believe it has a good effect on local farmers.
