As beer and other drinks took over Japanese Sake, the brewery was gradually facing the bankruptcy. An unfortunate accident happened in 1997. The owner passed away in young age. The young son, who had tried to rebuild the brewery, succeeded the owner. This episode was broadcasted by TV. And, a lot of famous Japanese Sake shops said, “Please send your Japanese Sake. We would like to support you.” However, the struggle failed. They said that their Japanese Sake was not tasty enough. The successor never gave up. He made efforts and improved the quality. And, he sent new bottles to the shops again. The shops were surprised at the improved quality and HIROKI became famous in Japan immediately. The name of HIROKI means that who drinks their bottle feels happy and the feeling outpours.
