Tasting Comment

You feel the flavor of pear. The viscosity is not so heavy. When you drop it in your mouth, the sophisticated sweetness and the freshness of fruit jelly spread. You can also find tastes of minerals in it. The texture is smooth and the flavor lasts long in your mouth. This Japanese Sake is very elegant. I tried it with Ochoko, wine glasses and Japanese Sake glasses. Wine glasses were the best partners. The charms were emphasized mostly

I recommend you should enjoy this Japanese Sake with fish dish. Sashimi or grilled fish with Yuzu source will be a good partner. Yuzu is a type of citrus.

Prosciutto and Mimolette also parted well.

If you would like to enjoy it with western style dish, I recommend the dish that is not heavy or is with citrus source.

The tips of this Ippon

“Fukuju” is the brand name of this brewery. It is well-known that this Japanese Sake was served in Norvel Prize banquets several times. They won a lot of international Japanese Sake Contests. Of course, they also won the contests in Japan too. The brewery is located in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Hyogo Prefecture is known to produce high quality rice for Japanese Sake, “Yamada-nishiki”. Most of Japanese Sake breweries use “Yamada-nishiki” for brewing Ginjo-Shu. Hyogo Prefecture also holds Rokko Mountain that pours finest quality water. They fully enjoy these advantages to brew their Japanese Sake. The color of this Japanese Sake bottle is blue, so the English name is Fukuju Bule Label. The color of the bottle will be a good accent on the dinner table.
